Sony has a good reputation when it comes to wireless ear buds, one that the WF-1000XM5 want to continue. The ear buds promise a lot: the best noise cancelling on the market, which is a tall order given the competition out there, and immersive sound and advanced microphone technology that Sony claims will bring the company’s best ever call quality. Part of this is down to three microphones on each earbud, including dual feedback mics, which are designed to improve low-frequency cancellation performance. Plus Sony has built in head-tracking technology to make the sound feel even more immersive, adjusting it to compensate for your head movement. And all of this comes in a lightweight package that will sit comfortably in your ears. None of this comes cheap either, at €319.
