Dyson Airstrait, $500
The latest addition to Dyson’s hair care range, the Dyson Airstrait, uses all the expertise the company has built up over the years in air flow and hair care. The styler is designed for multiple hair types, allowing you to transform your hair into a sleek, straight style from wet to dry without damage.
It uses a precisely angled high-pressure blade of air which is forced downwards and into the hair through two 1.5mm apertures. It has three settings: wet and dry styling and cool mode to set the style.
It is powered by Dyson’s Hyperdymium motor, designed for Dyson’s hair care devices, and has intelligent heat control through glass bead thermistors that measure the temperature of the airflow 30 times per second to prevent heat damage.
