Coros Pace 2: A wearable wearable

Tech tools: New fitness watch is light and will last for 20 days of regular use on a charge

On the hunt for a fitness-focused watch? Sports technology company Coros has one of the nicer wearables available on the market, the Pace 2 Blue Steel (€199).

The watch comes with GPS built in, is incredibly light and will last for up to 20 days of regular use — step-tracking, heart-rate monitoring and sleep. It comes with running, biking, swim, cardio strength and water modes built in, and offers heart-rate monitoring around the clock.

A new version of the software due for launch soon will add features such as jump rope to monitor skipping, and British grid references. It’s all wrapped up in a nice, simple package.
