A goal on the hour from Paul Keegan gave Bray this win but it was goalkeeper John Walsh the home side had to thank at the finish for four stunning stops as Wanderers preserved their winning lead to move to within a point of Cork.
Keegan struck on 61 minutes when reaching to stab home a Phil Keogh cross. Thereafter, it was all Cork who battled to get back into the game only to find Walsh standing steadfastly in their way.
Walsh first tipped over a stinging drive from Steve Gaughan and then deprived Tony Tynan and John Caulfield and Kelvin FLangan deep in injury time.
