ROWING: The Tribesmen head of the river in Galway tomorrow kick-starts the season and gives the huge entry a chance to brush off the cobwebs - and then have a good time.
Competition between the 10 men's open eights should provide a highlight. Garda, Trinity, Queen's University and NUIG will be watching each other's form closely.
Neptune's top eight take on Cambridge on Sunday in London in a special pre-Boat Race test, but their "second" eight will be out to impress in Galway.
Particularly competitive sections tomorrow are set to be the men's open pairs, with 28 entries, and the open single scull, with 21.
