BOHEMIANS and St Patrick's Athletic were left facing financial hardship when UEFA announced the groupings for the UEFA Cup yesterday. In tonight's draw champions St Patrick's will go into the same hat as Apoel Nicosia (Cyprus), Hadjuk Split (Croatia), Slovan Bratislava (Slovnkia), and Locomotiv Sofia (Bulgaria) while Bohemians will be paired with one of the following Dynamo Minsk (Belarus), Dynamo Tiblisi (Georgia), Hafia (Isreal), FC Dinaburg (Latvia) and FC Hakary (Finland).

Both clubs will be hoping for a home draw in the first leg as they face an expensive away leg no matter who they draw. Shelbourne have been put into a section with 17 other sides which includes a number closer to home.

Due to the huge demand for tickets for the Dundalk Liverpool match on August 4th, Iarnrod Eireann will be running a special train between Dublin and Dundalk on the day.
