Leinster Schools' Junior Cup Semi-final/St Mchael's College 12 Newbridge College 10:Schools' Senior and Junior Cup double with this dramatic win at the lower age grade over Newbridge College at Donnybrook yesterday.

Sam Green made it 6-0 in the 24th minute after scoring two penalties. On the resumption, Newbridge centre Darragh Hennebry blasted to the line from 30 metres. Outhalf Conor Browne converted from the left to make it 7-6 in the 34th minute.

Green got his third penalty to restore the Newbridge lead but Browne lashed over a drop goal with eight minutes left to play.

St Michael's struck back immediately for replacement Nathan van der Laan to land a penalty, a score that would prove decisive.
