Co Meath golf club had more cause for celebrations last weekend than most clubs this time of the year. No fewer than three holes-in-one were recorded in the weekend competitions. All three were at the 12th with Barry Fitzgerald and Ronnie Russell holing out on Saturday and Frank McKenna equalling the feat on Sunday. Co Meath golf club must hold the record for holes-in-one on a day. This was the second time this year that two aces were scored on the same day.
