Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has denied a Football Association charge of improper conduct and has requested a personal hearing.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has denied a Football Association charge of improper conduct and has requested a personal hearing.

The charge relates to his dismissal in the game against Portsmouth on 16 December.

Wenger was charged "in relation to his words and behaviour towards the match officials at half-time of the match against Portsmouth on 16 December."

Wenger was sent from the dug-out for the second half of his side's 2-2 draw with Pompey at the Emirates Stadium.
