Soccer:Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given missed training in Malahide this morning as he underwent treatment for a stiff neck, although the Aston Villa player is not considered a doubt for Friday night's Euro 2012 play-off first leg in Estonia.

David Forde has returned to Millwall for treatment on a thigh injury, and Motherwell’s Darren Randolph has been added to the squad.

Manager Giovanni Trapattoni was taking no chances with a further three players — Richard Dunne, Keith Andrews and Keith Fahey — also sitting out the session.

Dunne and Fahey were both having treatment for minor injuries, while Andrews was simply rested.
