Sporting Fingal 2 Sligo Rovers 1:Two years after the club was founded Sporting Fingal captain Stephen Paisley lifted the FAI Cup at Tallaght Stadium this afternoon, after his side came from a goal down to shock Sligo Rovers in injury time.

Sligo had been the better side for much of the game and took the lead through Eoin Doyle ion the 56th minute, but Colm James took full advantage of a fortunate penalty decision and a header at the death from Gary O’Neill sealed the win.
