League Of Ireland First Division:Tonight's planned meeting between Shelbourne and Finn Harps at Tolka Park has been called off.

The decision to postpone the match follows the abandonment of last night's game between Shamrock Rovers and Waterford United.

That match was halted after 52 minutes when a floodlight pylon became unearthed due to high winds.

The pylon began swaying shortly after the teams had returned to the pitch to begin the second half, leading Referee Declan Hanney to abandon the match after consulting with safety officers

Both games are to be re-scheduled for a later date.
