It may have lost just a little something with the departure of all this year's Irish League sides but the Setanta Sports Cup still boasts quite a semi-final line up this evening, with Sligo heading to Drogheda United and Shamrock Rovers, fresh from their trouncing of Bray, set to have another crack at beating Cork City.

The southerners, whose manager Tommy Dunne says the priority is simply to keep the tie alive for next week's return leg at Turner's Cross, could be in better shape as they make the journey to Tallaght.

Darren Dennehy returns from the suspension he picked up for getting sent off the last time he was in this neck of the woods, but Kevin Murray and Dan Murray are both still injured, Neal Horgan and Colin Healy are both doubts with knee problems, and Gearóid Morrissey is suspended.

Trevor Croly, who describes Friday's 7-0 win as the result of "a lot of hard work coming together," has one or two problems himself with David Elebert and Tommy Stewart both still out due to illness and Conor Winn (thigh strain) likely to be on he sidelines too, but the Dubliners, whose game kicks off 15 minutes before the night's other two at 7.30, still have quite a few options including simply sticking with the same team.

Sligo, meanwhile, are unlikely to change things too much having scored 10 goals without reply in their last four league games and won all eight so far.

Joseph Ndo is back training and could be involved in some way but Danny North, Ciaran Kelly and Seamus Conneely are all still out. For United, Gary O'Neill is the only doubt.

In the Premier Division, Limerick take on Bohemians at Thomond Park where, despite some decent performances they have won just once.
