Aaron Lennon could be in contention for Tottenham's UEFA Cup match against Slavia Prague on Thursday after fears of a serious knee injury proved unfounded.

The England winger missed Tottenham's defeat against Manchester United at the weekend with a cartilage problem and Tottenham boss Martin Jol was concerned the 19-year-old could be out for a month.

It is understood however that Lennon is now back in training and will make the trip to Prague with the rest of the Tottenham squad.
