Barcelona striker Thierry Henry was unable to take part in training on Monday morning because of illness.

The France international, who was an unused substitute in Saturday's goalless league draw against Espanyol, was suffering from a fever and it remains to be seen if he will be fit in time for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Manchester United.

Also absent from Monday's training session, which was conducted behind close doors, were Ronaldinho, Lilian Thuram, Jose Edmilson and back-up goalkeeper Albert Jorquera.

Ronaldinho and Jorquera are both injury absentees, while Edmilson remained in the gym with a back problem. Thuram was given the morning off by the club but was due to train in the afternoon.

Defender Oleguer Presas has been given the all clear to return to action after recovering from a hand injury. Barca will train again tomorrow evening, 24 hours before their Champions League semi-final first leg against United at the Nou Camp.
