Bray Wanderers have secured the services of central defender Clive Delaney from Derry City.

The former UCD, St Patricks Athletic and West Ham player was released just before Christmas by new Derry City manager Pat Fenlon. He had joined City under Gavin Dykes at the start of the 2004 season.

Delaney played a pivotal part in the recent FAI Cup Final when he helped Derry bounce back to secure a 4-3 victory over St Patrick's Athletic by scoring the side's second goal.
