Séamus Coleman will be deployed in a right-sided midfield role for the Republic of Ireland’s friendly international against Spain at Yankee Stadium in New York on Tuesday night.

The Everton player has made the right back slot his own at international level, but will start in front of Paul McShane against the world champions.

Derby County's Jeff Hendrick will start alongside James McCarthy in central midfield, with Millwall's Andy Keogh on the left wing.

Skipper Robbie Keane is joined by Derby County striker Conor Sammon up front.
