Dunfermline 1 Celtic 2:Celtic restored their lead at the top of the Bank of Scotland Premier League to 16 points with a comfortable 2-1 win over Stephen Kenny's Dunfermline at East End Park.
After a turgid first 45 minutes, Aiden McGeady shot the visitors into the lead with a drive from the edge of the box four minutes into the second period.
The three points were secured in the 68th minute when striker Maciej Zurawski took a Neil Lennon pass before volleying past the helpless Pars keep Dorus De Vries.
In the final seconds Pars midfielder Stephen Simmons scored from close range.
But the Hoops' win was marred by a confrontation between captain Lennon and McGeady at the final whistle.
