Livingston 2-3 Hearts: Roman Bednar struck a late winner in a dramatic second half at Almondvale as Hearts moved 13 points behind Bank of Scotland Premier League leaders Celtic with a 3-2 win over Livingston.

In his first home match as home boss, Tynecastle legend John Robertson saw his side level twice in the second half through Richard Brittain and Dave MacKay.

But substitute Bednar struck with three minutes left to add to earlier goals from Bruno Aguiar and Edgar Jankauskas.

Hearts stand-in captain Andy Webster was relived to collect all three points from the bottom club.

"They showed a good fighting spirit but their manager has probably instilled that in them.

"It was a big game for us and we are delighted to come away with three points. They worked hard and made us defend, so we were happy with the win."
