Ajax are unhappy with Henk ten Cate over his imminent move to Chelsea

Ajax are unhappy with Henk ten Cate over his imminent move to Chelsea.  The Dutchman is in talks with Chelsea about joining the club's coaching staff after the Blues agreed a compensation deal with Ajax on Monday.

The former Barcelona assistant manager is expected to seal his move to Stamford Bridge in the next few days where he is expected to work alongside Avram Grant.

Ajax's technical director Martin van Geel says the club are not happy at how the move for ten Cate has come about

"Henk spoke with Chelsea a week last Thursday. The following Tuesday Henk approached the board and said he wanted to go to Chelsea," van Geel told The Sun.

"Henk presented it to us as a fact and we didn't have any choice.   We didn't want to work with a coach who had his mind at Chelsea. Things should have been done differently. I don't want to say more."
