Cliftonville would need to beat St Joseph’s of Gibraltar to set up the match with Shamrock Rovers. It would be the second all-island clash in Europe this year, with Shelbourne being drawn to face Linfield in the Champions League qualifiers yesterday. St Joseph’s lost 3-2 to Shelbourne on aggregate last year in the first round of the Conference League qualifiers.
All the second round Conference League qualifiers will be held on the 24th and 31st of July. Kick off times will be announced by next Monday. Rovers will play away in the first leg and home in the return.
Should they win their first round tie, St Pat’s will play the first leg at home on the 24th, and the second leg away on the following week.
The loser of the Shelbourne vs Linfield Champions League qualifier will play away on the 24th, with the home leg on the 31st.
