Golf:Brandt Snedeker and Justin Rose who finished first and second respectively in the US Tour Championship have both achieved their highest ever placing on the world rankings.
Snedeker, who by winning the FedEx Cup play-offs at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta also cashed in to the tune of $10 million is into the top 10 for the first time at 10th, while Rose’s move up to fifth gives Europe four of the top five heading into the Ryder Cup. All 24 players in the match in Chicago, which starts on Friday, are in the world’s top 35.
