Wales were crushed 31-0 by Australia in their second Test in Brisbane.

Last weekend Gareth Jenkins saw his side come with seconds of a famous win before they finally went down 29-23 in the tour opener.

But there was to be no repeat performance at Suncorp Stadium as the home cruised to victory with 25 second-half points.

The first half was turgid stuff and two Stirling Mortlock penalties gave the Wallabies a 6-0 advantage at the break.

But after the interval debutant Digby Ioane, Drew Mitchell and Julian Huxley all crossed for Australia tries while Mortlock added two more penalties and two conversions.
