Coach Mark McCall has, however, confirmed a 23-man squad with the notable omissions of wingers Tommy Bowe and Mark Bartholomeusz.

Both players suffered hamstring injuries in last weekend's defeat to Munster. Andrew Maxwell and Scott Young have been drafted in as cover.

McCall will name his team on Thursday at 12 noon.

The match kicks-off at 7.30pm on Friday.
