Munster have announced the squad for Friday's Celtic League clash against Border Reivers at Neverdale.

A number of key players including Peter Stringer,Paul O'Connell and Denis Leamy have all been left out of the squad while Marcus Horan is still unavailable due to a calf injury.

Munster have won all five of their previous encounters against the Reivers and  need to secure a victory on Friday if they are to keep alive their bid to win a unique Celtic League/Heineken Cup double.
