David Marty will replace the injured Florian Fritz at centre for France in Sunday's Six Nations Championship clash with Scotland at Murrayfield.

Perpignan's Marty, 25, was drafted into the squad after Fritz fractured his lower leg in training on Wednesday.

Les Bleus coach Marc Lievremont had the option of promoting fly-half David Skrela from the bench and playing him out of position at centre.

But Marty, who did not make the original 22 despite being a regular fixture in France's team during last year's World Cup, has been given the nod over the Stade Francais man.

Toulouse centre Fritz will miss the entire Six Nations because of his injury.
