Leinster and Munster's Champions Cup quarter-final fixtures confirmed

Munster to face Toulouse at the Aviva as Thomond Park is hosting concerts

The quarter-finals of the Champions Cup get underway on Saturday, May 7th with Munster’s home clash with holders Toulouse.

Thomond Park is hosting two Ed Sheeran concerts on Thursday May 5th and Friday May 6th, and with over 70,000 tickets sold it will take weeks for the pitch to be playable again.

Therefore that fixture takes place at the Aviva Stadium with kick-off at 3pm. While the showdown between URC leaders Leinster and Premiership table toppers Leicester Tigers is scheduled for Welford Road at 5.30pm.

Also on Saturday, the Stade Marcel-Deflandre will be packed out once again for the meeting of 2021 finalists, Stade Rochelais, and Top14 front runners, Montpellier, who have reached the quarter-final stage for the first time since 2013.

Then on Sunday, the No 1 ranked team from Pool A and three-time finalists, Racing 92, will go head-to-head with Sale Sharks at the Paris La Défense Arena.

All quarter-finals will be broadcast live on BT Sport. The highest-ranked clubs which qualify for the semi-finals will have home advantage.

The highest-ranked clubs from the pool stage will have home venue advantage.
