Jordan Larmour among Leinster trio in line for return against Zebre

Tommy O’Brien and Harry Byrne could also play in home game against Italian side

The fit-again trio of Jordan Larmour, Tommy O'Brien and Harry Byrne are all in line for potential seasonal returns when Leinster host Zebre in the United Rugby Championship at the RDS on Saturday (kick-off 1pm).

The trio returned to full training last week and are available for selection, while Conor O'Brien, Nick McCarthy and Dan Leavy all came through last Sunday's patchy 7-6 win against the Dragons with no issues after their return from injury and are expected to train as normal this week.

The one casualty from that Rodney Parade game is Rory O'Loughlin, who sustained an injury to his shoulder that will require further investigation and he is not available for selection this week.

Jack Dunne will look to increase his training load further this week as he looks to recover from an ankle injury while Caelan Doris (calf), Dave Kearney (ankle), Michael Milne (calf), Will Connors (knee) and Thomas Clarkson (hamstring) all remain sidelined.

A statement from the province said: “The RDS Arena will be open to supporters at 11.45am and beverage and food stalls (including bars) will be open, but supporters will be asked to bring any items bought to their seats and not to congregate in large gatherings.

“Tickets for the game are also on sale at and the game will be sold on the basis of the 75% capacity attendance model that was also in place for the Round 1 game against the Vodacom Bulls.

“As a result, and in line with current Government guidelines, all adult supporters must be fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid-19 within the last six months.

“It will also be the personal responsibility of all supporters to ensure they adhere to Government guidelines around mask wearing and other protocols and adult supporters should also note that proof of vaccination or recovery may be requested before entry.”
