Andy Farrell assembles 50-man Ireland squad for Dublin camp

Preparations begin for November Tests against All Blacks, Japan and Argentina

Andy Farrell has assembled a 50-man Ireland squad for a one-day camp in Dublin as preparation begins in earnest for the November internationals.

He has called up his Lions cohort who spent the summer on tour to South Africa, as well as the youthful squad who played summer Tests against Japan and the USA. However, there is no spot for Simon Zebo after his recent return to Ireland to join Munster.

Ireland will be reacquainted with the Brave Blossoms at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday November 6th, with the All Blacks arriving in Dublin on November 13th and Argentina the following weekend on November 21st.

Farrell capped nine new players during the summer - Robert Baloucoune, Caolin Blade, Paul Boyle, Harry Byrne, Gavin Coombes, James Hume, Tom O’Toole, Nick Timoney and Fineen Wycherley - all of whom are back with the squad.
