David Humphreys is set to join an elite group of Irish players next week when he is inducted into the IRUPA Hall of Fame.

The 72-time capped former Ireland international will be honoured at the IRUPA Rugby Players Awards on Wednesday.

Humphreys will become the first player from behind the scrum, and indeed the first non-Munsterman, to join the Hall of Fame with Peter Clohessy, Mick Galwey and Keith Wood the only other players currently inducted.
