The rumour mill linking Junior Fatialofa with post-season move to Munster ground to a halt this morning as the Samoan centre signed for Bristol.

The 27-year-old Exeter star had been the subject of speculation suggesting a transfer to Declan Kidney's side, but will move to Bristol in time for next term.

Bristol head coach Richard Hill said: "He is a very physical player who has that typical Islander approach to defence, but is also capable of punching big holes through the midfield.

"He has been a very fine player now for several seasons in League One, and we feel that he is more than capable of making the step up to Premiership level."
