Connacht’s Frank Murphy ruled out of Leinster clash

Cork native suffered a concussion against Munster at the weekend

Connacht scrumhalf Frank Murphy has been ruled out of Saturday's Pro 12 match against Leinster after suffering a concussion against Munster at the weekend.

Connacht are, however, hopeful that fullback Gavin Duffy, who was forced to leave the field during the second half at Thomond Park with a shoulder injury, will recover in time for the match.

Ahead of Friday's team announcement, medical staff will continue to monitor the recovery of flanker Jake Heenan. The 21-year-old was forced to sit out his first game of the season last week due to a shoulder injury.

Pat Lam's squad has been boosted by the return from injury of forwards Michael Swift, Sean Henry and Ronan Loughney who all trained yesterday.
