40 mins: Albornoz is tackled and hits a great crossfield kick that just doesn’t fall to an Argentina player but back for another penalty. Ireland hanging on.

Argentina go again, big carry by Oviedo and back to within a few metres. Ringrose steals the ball! Great defence by Ireland and that’s a big try save.

So Ireland lead at the break. Much improved performance so far, efficiency and a bit of flair. Still conceding plenty of penalties and Argentina providing a threat, but some great moments in defence and attack.

He says if Ireland play again like they did against the All Blacks, then the next few weeks will hold a great deal of pain.
