Schools Rugby: King's Hospital dealt impressively with St Patrick's Classical School with a 17-0 win in the Fr Godfrey Junior Cup second round at North Kildare.

Full back Ariel Robles was the star of the show, returning two loose clearances for supreme counter-attacking tries. Outhalf Peter du Toit converted the second. Before that outstanding tighthead prop Joe Curran crashed over.

It was an altogether closer affair at Naas where CUS centre Enda Hessian's try and conversion was enough to hold off Kilkenny who started strongly with a try from second row Roger Holmes. Roscrea trumped Templeogue with second-half tries from centre Declan Hayes and lock Michael Moran.
