Don Givens's under-21 side continue their European Championship campaign in Buckley Park this evening where they will be hoping to pick up their first points with a win over Estonia.

Givens makes two changes to his starting line-up from the team that lost 3-1 in Portugal over the weekend, with midfielder Damien Lynch coming in for the injured Alan Quinn and goalkeeper Joe Murphy returning for Dean Delaney.

The loss of Quinn is disappointing for the Ireland manager, as Givens says that the youngster was allowed to return to England yesterday in order to prepare for Sheffield Wednesday as part of the manager's efforts to build bridges with the players' clubs. "It's sort of backfired on us on this occasion," he said yesterday.

Michael Reddy, meanwhile, will be back playing at the ground where he was first introduced to senior football for the first time since he left Kilkenny City for Sunderland a couple of seasons ago.

"My father rang me a while ago to tell me that the game was probably going to be there," said the striker, "and I was delighted. There'll probably be a few more of my relatives there than would normally go to see Kilkenny play. In fact, they'll probably go close to filling the stand."
