Pont Alexandre brought up the benchmark figure last year on December 16th in the Navan Hurdle and it could be Suntiep that gets the honour this afternoon, if a couple of his stable companions do the business earlier at Fairyhouse.

Paul Townend is on duty at home and he will be on board Abbyssial who kicks things off for the Mullins team in the juvenile hurdle. Abbyssial brings the experience of a run over hurdles at Auteuil in May. Mozoltov, a Grade Two winner over hurdles on his last start, has his first start for Gigginstown in the first of the Beginners Chases while Sunteip looks an interesting recruit to fences in the other.
