Should provincial winners get a second chance?

Danny Hughes

"That's difficult to say, but as it is, everyone knows the structure of the championship before it starts. So whatever it is, it is. You have to go with it, and see what happens."

Noel O'Leary

"I don't think so to be honest. I think it's a silly enough argument. The current system has been there for how long now? I wouldn't agree with it."

Are the qualifiers a better route to take?

Danny Hughes

"Provincial titles still mean a lot, I know I'd love to win one. If you come through winning Ulster they'll say that's the best way, if you come through the back door and win they'll say the same."

Noel O'Leary

"It's hard to know. We were delighted going through the front door last year. This year we're happy that playing three or four weeks in a row brought a tougher element to us."

Should video technology be used to adjudicate on scores?

Danny Hughes

"It takes away a certain character from the game, and I think generally the game is fine the way it is at the minute. I think we've eaten away enough at it already."

Noel O'Leary

"It's something that has to be looked at. There's some huge decisions being made and it isn't acceptable that games are hinging on those decisions. I think it would be a good idea."

What was the turning point in your season?

Danny Hughes

"Losing to Tyrone felt like déjà vu, but sometimes you learn more from defeat than victory, and that was the case there. We learned a lot from it, with the help of the management."

Noel O'Leary

"Limerick don't get as much credit as they should and that was a huge game for us. It was tough going into extra time against a team that was flying and it was a big boost to win."
