Munster School's Senior Cup:PBC 62 Ardscoil Rís 11
AN INEXPERIENCED Ardscoil Rís came badly unstuck at Crosshaven yesterday, as Cork giants Pres ran nine tries past their Limerick opponents. PBC will now face another Limerick outfit, Crescent, in round two, while Ardscoil will be given a second bite against CBC.
Kevin Kidney, son of Declan, kicked almost flawlessly at outhalf, converting seven and sending over a 10th minute penalty, his side’s first score. He also found time to get the second try, a 23rd minute effort that followed closely on from Conaill Murphy’s touch down.
The other try scorers were Cian Bohane, Patrick O’Connell, Ronan Barry, Ian Mullarkey, Jack Duffy, Niall Scannell and Johnny MacCarthy.
