Katie-George Dunlevy has been confirmed as Team Ireland’s flag bearer for the closing ceremony of the Tokyo Paralympics.

Dunlevy will be joined by Eve McCrystal, following a stunning Games which saw the duo win two golds and a silver medal.

Their silver came in the velodrome, as they finished second in the Women’s B 3000m individual pursuit.

There would be better to come on the road as they took gold in the time trial and then the road race - the latter coming in the pouring rain on Friday.
