Ireland’s opening one-day international against Afghanistan in Belfast was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The first game of a five-match series between the two nations fell victim to heavy rain at Stormont and it was cancelled at 2.45pm after the toss had been delayed.
Ireland must now wait until Tuesday for the next scheduled game at Stormont, which will also host matches on July 14th, 17th and 19th.
Cricket Ireland have confirmed spectators at Sunday’s game can obtain a full refund or use tickets purchased for any of the four remaining matches in the series.
