Mayo manager John O'Mahony has made just one change to the team that beat Galway in the National Football League semi-final ahead of Sunday's final at Croke Park against Donegal with corner forward Michael Conroy in for Aiden Kilcoyne.

However, O'Mahony has completely re-jigged his forward lines as captain Kevin O'Neill moves from corner to centre forward, while Ger Brady switches from full forward back to the half forwards, where he made his inter-county breakthrough last year. Alan Dillon is moved into the square's edge. There had been injury concerns surrounding O'Neill, goalkeeper David Clarke and fullback James Kilcullen but all were past fit last night.

The defence, with Billy Joe Padden at centre back, and midfield remain unchanged.

A decision on the availability of Donegal's Kevin Cassidy for Sunday's game with Mayo will be revealed today. The former All Star defender attended an Ulster Council hearing last night to appeal a two week suspension for picking up two yellow cards, leading to red, in separate games this season.

The Donegal county board were disputing the legitimacy of both yellow cards Cassidy received in the McKenna Cup fixture against Armagh.

There was also a query about whether one of his yellow cards in last Sunday's League semi-final against Kildare was not merely a case of mistaken identity.

Donegal manager Brian McIver has delayed announcing a team until the Ulster Council make a ruling. There are also several injury concerns, primarily full forward Brendan Devenney.

Cavan become the last county in Ireland to experience the redeveloped Croke Park when they line out against Roscommon tomorrow night in the Division Two semi-final. Fitting then that they become one of the first teams to experience the stadium under floodlights.

New manager Donal Keoghan will be without the injured Darren Rabbitte and suspended Lorcan Mulvey.

Rabbitte misses out due to a hamstring injury but Seanie Johnston has recovered to replace Gerard Pierson at corner-forward, while Ronan Flanagan comes into the half-forward line after serving a four-week suspension.

Michael Brennan is selected in place of Mulvey.

Nicholas Walsh is named among the substitutes and former handball world champion Paul Brady is named at wing back.
