Connacht Ladies FC/ Mayo 1-12; Roscommon 0-12: Diane O'Hora, whose goal snatched the All-Ireland title from Dublin last year, struck again at McHale Park, Castlebar, yesterday to deny Roscommon a famous victory over the All-Ireland champions.

Having lost to Galway in the championship round-robin series, Mayo needed to beat Roscommon.

They were trailing at half-time by 0-9 to 0-5 but thanks to the accuracy of Cora Staunton, scorer of 0-10, Mayo started a second-half revival. A late goal from O'Hora turned impending defeat into a terrific victory.

Mayo are now through to the final where they will meet either Galway or Roscommon.

In the Leinster semi-final, Laois beat Meath by 4-12 to 4-8.
