A WELL drilled Kilkenny College side were seldom troubled at Newbridge yesterday. Douglas James crossed the line shortly after the start and there were further tries by Edward Young and Keith Masterson with Russell Armstrong converting once. They led 17-0 at the break.

Kilkenny had second half tries from Masterson, Ian Galbraith (two) and Armstrong, who converted all four, for an emphatic win.
