With influential winger Bobby Ryan suspended, Sean Malee comes in on the right-hand side of midfield as Galway United manager Don O'Riordan reshuffles his side.

Another change is likely in central defence with Billy Clery back from a ban and likely to partner Tom Silke. Both sides will be keen to build on good wins last week, with fourth-from-bottom Galway's need the greater.

Derry continue without their talisman Liam Coyle, out for another fortnight at least with a groin strain. Gary Beckett hopes to play despite a similar injury, but James Quigley and Darren McCaul are still out.

Shaun Gallagher, who made his first start of the season at left back last week, has had a chest infection but is expected to play, as is 'flu victim Eamonn Doherty.
