Munster 1-22 Connacht 0-15:Munster were crowned inter-provincial hurling champions, capturing the Railway Cup for a record 45th time at Cusack Park, Ennis, yesterday.

Munster took a firm grip on proceeding after the break, having led at the interval by 1-11 to 0-9, the goal coming from Cork’s Paudie O’Sullivan after 26 minutes. After the break further scores by Patrick Horgan (2) and Graeme Mulcahy saw Munster assume control again.
