Team news: Westmeath manager Páidí Ó Sé hopes to name a team to face Offaly in Sunday's Leinster football championship match at Croke Park after training this evening.

The main concern surrounds midfielder David O'Shaughnessy who is suffering from flu. His partner in the middle Rory O'Connell is struggling with a groin problem, John Keane has an infection in his knee, while Gary Dolan is another doubt. However, all three are expected to be available for Sunday.

Despite recent speculation, Westmeath minor David Glennon will not be called up to the senior panel for this weekend.

"He is with the under-21s at present," said selector Tomás Ó Flatharta. "We are keeping an eye on him, and another number of young players, and believe he is a good prospect for the future."

The Munster Council has decided to make Sunday week's provincial senior hurling semi-final between Limerick and Cork at the Gaelic Grounds an all-ticket affair.

A spokesman for the Limerick County Board said that tickets will go on sale in both counties early next week. The capacity at the redeveloped Ennis Road venue is now 49,000.

Limerick football manager Liam Kearns is concerned about the availability of goalkeeper Seamus O'Donnell for next month's Munster championship clash against Waterford, at the Gaelic Grounds.

O'Donnell was a late withdrawal from the team which beat Tipperary last Sunday because of a muscle injury. He also missed recent club matches.

Midfielder Jason Stokes (groin injury) also remains on the injured list and faces a race against the clock to regain full fitness for the visit of Waterford.

Kieran McDonald returned to the Mayo colours in a senior football challenge against Donegal at Markiewicz Park last night. However, Donegal were convincing winners - 1-15 to 0-10 - after they completely dominated the second half.

Mayo were well in the game in the first half with McDonald's clever play causing all sorts of problems for Donegal, but Mayo faded badly after the break and it took them 16 minutes to get their first score in the second half.

SCORERS: Donegal: B Devenney 0-6, C McFadden 1-3, S McDermott 0-2, C Toye 0-2, A Sweeney 0-1, B Boyle 0-1, Mayo: C Mortimer 0-5, A Moran 0-2, M McNicholas 0-1, J Gill 0-1, M Conroy 0-1.
