Golf: Graeme McDowell has now moved level with Phil Mickelson in fourth place in the world rankings as both build up to this week's Abu Dhabi Championship.
The US Open champion, who narrowly missed out on the play-off holes in the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii last week, is now as high as he's ever been in the rankings.
Rory McIlroy and Pádraig Harrington remain where they were, in 12th and 26th, respectively. Darren Clarke is next best of the Irish players in 109th, six places better than Peter Lawrie (116th).
Gareth Maybin, who was in action alongside Clarke in South Africa over the weekend, slips to 125th in the latest standings with Damien McGrane (123rd) moving above the Antrim man.
