Graeme McDowell, winner of the Ballantine's Championship in South Korea, and Colin Montgomerie — who missed the cut in America — are 59th and 66th respectively in the world rankings as they chase a place in the top 50 in time for The Masters in three weeks.

Both play in this week's CA world championship in Miami. The cut-off point for Augusta comes a week later.

Tiger Woods' lead at the top is now a massive 12.05 points over Phil Mickelson, following his seventh successive tournament victory. Woods took the Arnold Palmer Invitational with a 24-foot birdie putt on the final hole
