Winning the Captain's Prize once in your career is no mean achievement. But to do so twice is something special. At Ballybofey & Stranorlar that honour fell to Ann McAllister when she won Mary O'Flanagan's Captain's Prize by two shots from Noel Harris. Four years ago, Ann won the Lady Captain's Prize and she was celebrating once again in the 36 hole competition. Having shot 64 on the first day, the 22 handicapper kept up her good form on the second day, adding a 66 to record the twoshot winning margin. In third spot behind McAllister and Harris was Anne Sweeney, while Margaret McCrossan took the gross prize.
