Slieve Russell twins Lisa and Leona Maguire continued a remarkable run and will now meet each other in this afternoon's final of the Lancôme Irish Ladies Close Championship at Westport Golf Club.

The 13-year-old twins continue to defy their years as they both recorded convincing wins in this morning's semi-finals to ensure the name of Maguire will be etched onto the trophy.

Leona enjoyed a convincing 4 and 3 win over Ashbourne's Dawn Marie Conalty, while Lisa defeated Greencastle's Gemma Hegarty 3 and 2.

Scratch handicapper Lisa was also the leading qualifier before the matchplay stages.
